The Osler Origin will offer a wide portfolio of diagnostic tests and serve all major healthcare settings, globally.

The Osler Origin is powered by a portfolio of novel techniques and approaches for sample addition, microfluidic sample preparation, and electrochemical biosensing, and Osler was formed out of the University of Oxford in 2017, following decades of research.

Having recently completed an $85m Series C fundraise, we are now entering a growth phase, where we are scaling our team as we take the Osler Origin product through regulatory activities, and towards market launch.

We are now recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer (Production) based in Oxford, to drive Quality Assurance in the journey to move from development to production and establish production procedures and working practices​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transfer QA deliverables relating to Osler's single-use consumable cartridges from Development to Production and establish production procedures and working practices​
  • Champion quality in the Production team through training, presentations and team meetings​
  • Lead investigations, document and remediate quality issues through collaboration and cross-functional team work​
  • Prepare, review, and conduct inspections in line with the internal auditing plan​
  • Champion, and drive quality projects that improve product quality and the QMS

 

 

Skills & Experience:

 

Essential

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, other relevant field or equivalent​
  • 5+ years of experience in a Senior QA Engineering role in a regulated industry​
  • Product transfer from Development to Production​
  • Knowledge or experience of Continuous Improvement practises

Desirable

  • Trained auditor to ISO 13485 or equivalent​
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent​
  • Experience working with scale-up of assembly processes for single-use consumable medical devices
