Software Project Manager

Contract: Full-time, permanent (can consider contract) 

Location: Oxford, UK

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000

Combination of remote and onsite working

You’ll be a confident, software project manager with a background in software development who is looking for a new role in a company where you can make a difference to human health.  To be a good fit for this role in a growing software team your current skills and experience must include:

  1. Supporting and managing a team of geographically distributed software developers and test engineers
  2. Developing complex software using an Agile methodology and managing multiple scrum teams
  3. Ability to liaise effectively with Product Owners and subject matter experts to prioritise features and incidents into a well organised backlog
  4. Managing the transfer of high-level system requirements into relevant software requirements
  5. Ensuring that teams develop deliverables according to a Quality system
  6. Motivation and organisation of software teams to deliver to required schedules
  7. Ability to replan according to changing priorities
  8. Utilising outsourced resources to meet project schedules
  9. Tracking and reporting of project schedule and associated risks

Desirable skills and experience include:

  1. Project Management in a Medical Device company
  2. Trained in project management with an accredited certification e.g. Scrum Master, Prince 2, PMP
  3. Managing software projects that are part of a multi-disciplinary product development
  4. Experience of working in a start-up company
