IT Service Desk Engineer

IT Service Desk Engineer

Full-time, On-site, Oxford, UK

£35,000 - £55,000

Osler is small company of 104 (ish) IT users ranging from a basic MS ecosystem to powerful CAD and laboratory data software. We're looking for a hands-on trouble-shooter, your role will be to provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution. Perform problem diagnosis and guide users through step-by-step solutions in a desktop support based environment. Provide technical solutions in a user-friendly manner, facilitating one-to-one end user training as required and ensuring site technical documentation is maintained. This role is supported by a third party IT support company. 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working at start-up/ SME pace
  • Experience working with varied users, from very technical to basic 
  • Experience in customer/client role 
  • MS - Windows 10 Sharepoint & Office 365
  • Some Mac support
  • Experience with CAD (SolidWorks) or Lab software such as MiniTab, a bonus. 

We're busy and demanding but there is a lot to get your teeth in to and learn along the way as we go and increase in complexity.
