Head of Research Management

Oxford, UK

 

As the Head of Research Management you will report to the CSO. You will partner on strategy and lead the planning, prioritisation and delivery on research activities as well as managing a team. This role will act as a catalyst between strategic direction and ‘getting it done’ with responsibilities across scientific communication, internal and external collaborations and networks and intellectual property.  

£80,000 - £110,000

You must be: 

  • Working in a fast-paced, exploratory biotech/ pharma environment.
  • Have proven experience building and managing effective team with diverse skills, directing work across a multitude of complex activities in dynamic and ambiguous circumstances. 
  • Able to demonstrate organisational savvy by making strategic trade-offs with complex policy, process and people related organisational dynamics to ensure efficient resourcefulness, quality and transparent decision-making that ultimately serves a relentless drive for results. 'You always find a way to get it done'.
  • Effective and authentic in communicating across internal and external partnerships, developing deep collaborations and relationships that serve innovative thinking, relentless curiosity, pleasure in uncertainty and resilience to failure. 

 

This role will be the fulcrum of ground-breaking research in electrochemistry, biosensing and PoC diagnostics; therefore we demand the best and make no compromises in our search for people who relish the challenge of changing the world.
